MARRYME
MARRYME
It's your story. Let's make it one to remember.

Our Story.

To hear about me, you first need to hear about Jack & Ethel.

I’d discreetly asked Jack to whisper something funny in Ethel’s ear but he surprised us all by sticking his tongue in there instead.

Cheeky bugger.

This image was captured in Newcastle on a fresh winter’s day after a Sunday morning church service. Afterwards a framed print found its way onto their mantel piece, where it stayed in pride of place for almost a decade.

I was so sad to hear of Jack’s passing last year.

At Jack’s funeral his loving family created a slideshow of images remembering Jack & Ethel’s 50+ year life together and chose to end on this picture.

And that’s when I realised why it’s just so important to capture these moments!

A bit about me

You’ll always find me in the middle of the action. This is when Tai proposed to Ash on Shark Island not long after she said yes!

I’m Lou and I have been taking photos for a very long time. I created Marryme because I love what I do and I want to pass that on to you! My partner Ralf & I also operate Dorrigo Photographic Services at 57 Hickory Street, Dorrigo, where together we provide Fine Art Printing & Photographic Services from the heart of Dorrigo.

I love meeting people and I love actively being part of my community. I enjoy nothing better than sharing a home cooked meal and connecting people.

I love simple pleasures like folk & arts festivals and basically love to be anywhere that people come together and be creative! I ran workshops and covered the Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival for the last few years as well as Camp Creative, in and loved every minute of it.

I have a passion for pickling but please don’t hold that against me. haha

Really, I am just so excited to be able to capture amazing stories of couples in love, for people like you.

I can’t wait to be a part of your story!

Seriously.  Can’t wait.

Lou
